We have recently took on a work placement student from St Mary’s University, Twickenham to help one of our clients, anew business start up. Diana Apetrei is a second year Business Management and Entrepreneurship student. She will be working closely with one of our clients’ businesses which is focused on Sustainability!
Diana says:
“I chose to focus on entrepreneurship because I have always dreamed of opening my own business or creating my own product/service, therefore I felt extremely lucky when I was able to work with one of TG Consulting’s clients on developing a range of sustainable products, from scratch.
During my first year at university, I learned the importance of sustainability in today’s age. There is no better time than right now to start making a change. I feel proud that I am helping to create a range of sustainable products, in an industry which seems to forget the importance of the environmental crisis we are currently facing.
I am excited for my role as I will be able to experience the complete process of product development which has always been a dream of mine. I find it extremely motivating to be working towards creating a range of sustainable products as I feel I am part of a much-needed positive change in the health and beauty industry. I am looking forward to learning more about how to ensure sustainability in a product over its whole life cycle, from the sourcing of raw materials until the final disposal of said product.
I am grateful that I am able to see the environmental change we need happening in 2021, and I hope that both consumers and producers will begin to place greater focus on this distressing matter.”
